"Norwich City Council have worked with WARM in their role as Passivhaus designers and M&E consultants on the RIBA Stirling Prize winning Goldsmith Street and as Passivhaus certifiers on two other projects.
- The selection of WARM was a reflection of their high quality knowledge and experience of working on Passivhaus projects along with their understanding of the brief, their enthusiasm for the project and commitment to working collaboratively with the rest of the design team and us as a client.
- WARM have worked extremely well to accommodate the requirements of the council, which have included:-
- Embracing the adoption of Passivhaus, this was a change to the original brief that required significant re-design;
- Taking on board changing design requirements throughout the design period and helping to inform these decisions;
- Assisting our contractors and their sub-contractors with specific Passivhaus toolbox talks; and
- Understanding the political environment we work in and the pressures of keeping within budget by proactively identifying savings through value engineering and offering alternative specifications.
I would recommend WARM for future projects"
